How to Add Good Links to your website for better traffic: from Eric Ward

Retraction of Yahoo Answers from this blog and the Reason Why! Sad, but predictable incident!

Today, October 11, 2007, I received an email from Yahoo Answers (a link I had previously displayed on this
blog site, but have now removed, due to their actions today.) You all pray for me...the following may actually put me on Yahoo's "black list" I suppose!

See Below….I answered a question made by some idiot on Yahoo Answers, who was actually trying
to compare Shakespeare’s writings with the Bible….see below my answer…..and YAHOO’S decision
to delete my answer!!!! WOW!
Talk about stopping the freedom of speech and religion! They somehow did not think my answer
was “safe or useful”.  See below the original question and my answer that I posted on Yahoo Answers site.
(I replied to them today, letting them know how I feel now about Yahoo and their complete lack of respect for
Christianity and the freedom of speech and religion.) Won’t surprise me now if they “ban”
me from answering anymore questions…..heaven forbid that anyone express any glorification of
the Living God on the Net!!!

Question: Is shakespeare a better writer than God?
Question Details: if the bible comes directly from God ... then why is shakespearean
literature so much better than the bible? You would think God could easily outclass a
human playwright.
Deleted Answer: You are treading on thin ice, my friend, challenging Your Almighty Creator
in such a way, and having the gall to compare Him to a mere man, whom HE created!
You have no idea what you are talking about, or no idea of the
power of God, Who made this earth with the Word of his Mouth, and man out of the dust of
this earth. Remember that, next time you try to compare the Almighty with his creation.

Now: Here is my response to Yahoo's email, to tell them WHY THIS CONTENT WAS REMOVED IN ERROR!!

I see no problem with my answer to the one who compared God to Shakespeare. Who would think of
ever comparing a mere man with God?
Others' answers I see to this question also point out the same thing, just not in quite a
reprimanding way. My answer came as a warning to the asker: if one thinks he can compare the Creator
of this Earth and all that is in the Universe with a mere man, who is the creation, who God made
from dust, he must be truly misinformed and deluded, and needs some real help! I was trying to
help him see the consequences he could suffer later in life if he continues along the path he seems
to be headed on, concerning his beliefs that God can be compared to a man.

How could this violate anything in your rules? I see no violation at all in my answer, and think
it is actually the most sincere and most compassionate one written, if you look at the others, they
give the person who asked the question no real answer, just an opinion about what type of literature
Shakespeare is, compared to the Word of the Living God, the Bible!

Deleting my answer is really doing a disservice to the one who posted the question, and to all who read
it and the answers! That person is obviously looking for answers about God, or has come to the point
where he thinks God can be compared to man, in which case, he IS, as I wrote, "treading on very thin
ice"! He is in danger of losing his eternal soul...that in no way should be considered as any kind of
personal threat from me (I am an old, disabled woman, who can barely get out of bed to take a bath
in the mornings!)

But, if you all feel that the freedom of speech about such things should be oppressed, go ahead and remove
my answer (which you already did anyway) and, go ahead and let the ones like the questioner continue
to post such questions and have their freedom of speech to insult the Living God, Our Creator,
by comparing HIM to a man.

I could have let this person know how I felt about that insult, but you will notice, I only tried
to answer in a compassionate way, to let him know he is headed ina very BAD direction...downward
and away from any relationship with His loving Father God.

Comparing Almighty God with God's created man, Shakespeare? The questioner HAS to be completely
confused about WHO GOD IS and how powerful and wonderful He is!

And, in conclusion, if you think you need to oppress the freedom of speech to GLORIFY Our Almighty
Father God, then you ALSO need to remove the question itself that INSULTED our Almighty Father God,
by comparing HIM to a man! But, since this is an (obviously now!) liberal media organization I am
dealing with, I am pretty sure that is NOT going to happen. Go ahead and continue to allow the ones
who insult Christianity to post their comments freely, and take out the ones who exalt Jesus, and
see where your company ends up in the end....to quote my Heavenly Father, "you reap what you sow".

Let Our Founding Fathers continue to turn over in their graves as they continue to see (if they
are able to from heaven) how this country is now trampling on every single founding philosophy
they put into our Constitution...including the freedom of religion and freedom of speech. I
would suggest that your Yahoo Team visit WallBuilders.com, to read for yourselves the Truth
about our founding fathers' intentions for EVERYONE in the country to freely express their
opinions, and especially for EVERYONE to worship as they choose and have the right to tell
others ABOUT THEIR BELIEFS.

However, as I said above, I am sure you have already somehow subtly written into your guidelines
some way to shut up the Christians from speaking up against those who would insult the Lord Jesus Christ,
and you must have something in your guidelines that allows others to continue to insult, oppress, and
suppress the truth of the Gospel of Jesus...so take your OWN warning, friends at Yahoo...."that
at the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of those in heaven, and of those on the earth,
and of those under the earth, and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to
the glory of God the Father" in the end. (Phillipians 2:10-11) Have your rules and fun now...
enjoy them while you can and continue your oppression.

I appreciated Yahoo for years, until I got your email about this today. Now, I have NO respect for
you whatsoever, or for your organization, since I now see that you are in the media BIASED group
that oppresses the freedom of religion and freedom of speech. You need to go to WallBuilders.com
or read the Constitution again for yourselves...you don't seem to understand the freedom of speech
or religion.

Sadly, the majority of young Americans will never know the truth about those things
either, since the school curriculums in public schools in America have slowly but surely been
taking out every truth about those topics from the history classes in the last 4 decades...and our
SAT scores have continued to plummet since the 1960's, as a result. We now rank 65th IN THE WORLD,
including the third world, poorest countries, in our students' SAT scores...before the 1960's,
we consistently were NUMBER ONE decade after decade after decade....but THAT ws during the time
when America understood, taught, and respected the freedom of religion and freedom of speech,
both in and out of the schools.

If you look at the questions posted by young people on Yahoo Answers, it breaks your heart...
you can SEE from so MANY of them how they are seeking answers about God, about the meaning of
life, and about why they are even on this earth. You can SEE the results of prayer and teaching
about God being removed from the schools! AND, you can obviously see, from their misspelled words
and jargon, the lack of real education our American students are getting now. It all is VERY,
VERY SAD. And your little decision to shut off my opinion just verifies the direction we have
already been headed in for the last 3 to 4 decades...so, it doesn't exactly surprise me, but it
does sadden me that Yahoo has now caved in as well, to the political, peer pressure and the liberal
philosophy that is going to destroy this country, and already is destroying it, from the inside
out...the generation coming up now will be not only highly illiterate, but highly IGNORANT
of the foundations of the country in which they live.

D Snead

I added the following PS to them later by email, I was so angry at Yahoo!
This question and answer, since your team has apparently deemed your yahoo answers to be devoid
of freedom of speech and religion, will now be posted on a blog site instead….so your censorship
of Christian’s rights to freedom of speech and defending their Lord when He is insulted by an
idiot such as the one who dared to compare GOD to a mere man (Shakespeare)….who, by the way,
though famous, was simply a MAN, made by GOD, just like everyone else God has ever allowed the
privilege of life…..is hereby revoked….the question and the answer will STILL APPEAR on the net….
just not on Yahoo!
By the way…..why don’t you remove the Horoscopes from your webpage? Why are you promoting the
practice of that religion? Why not post favorite Bible verses? Why not post any other favorite?
Why horoscopes? Because you think they are popular? THEY ARE OFFENSIVE TO MILLIONS OF CHRISTIANS
IN THIS NATION and should thus be REMOVED from your web-homepage.

Our True American Heritage and the Threat of Media Bias

The media now is most definitely already involved in and cooperating with, AND
PROMOTING the liberalistic, democratic political party. They have no business involving
themselves in trying to oppress or suppress the freedom of religion. Our founding fathers
expressly set up our constitution to SEPARATE CHURCH AND STATE.....that really meant, they
wanted NO GOVERNMENT involvement or oppression of the church, and the government was to
never remove the right of the people of America to freely worship as they choose.

Refer to Wikipedia.com, for more information on this issue of media bias...their
definition of the term is (quote from Wikipedia.com)"The term "media bias" usually refers
to a pervasive or widespread bias contravening the standards of journalism, rather than
the perspective of an individual journalist or article." Note that Wikipedia also refers
to the "standards of journalism" which journalists in this country are required to abide by.
It seems to me that many, many journalists now are allowing themselves to be swayed AWAY
from those standards of journalism, by various political influences, and perhaps by
pressure from their advertisers and promoters of their networks, who may be biased in
their opinions as to which political party they support....and they may be putting undue
pressure, according to Wikipedia, upon the journalists in America to report the news
according to their preferences.

This is deplorable, in this author's opinion, and should
be brought to the attention of the general public, if this type of "behind the scenes"
influence and pressure is being made on our journalistic and media community, to promote
one opinion over another, rather than to remain unbiased and objective in their reporting
of today's issues.

The media in America has always consistently claimed to be set up to be "UNBIASED" and
objective in their reporting...although it is now OBVIOUS to everyone which side of the
political agenda they are on…the liberal, humanistic, socialistic agenda...which is also the
same agenda that has as its goal to stop the freedom of religion, one of our founding fathers'
primary constitutional rights they purposely included in our government's laws.

In  summary, starting about 30 years ago, it seems the media in America has slowly but
surely abandoned its unbiased, objective viewpoints. Visit wallbuilders.com, for more
information on our original American heritage, and the original intentions of our
forefathers for this country...they built this nation on their trust in the Living God,
Jesus Christ, and they always intended for the government (and the media) to stay OUT of
the churches' ministry to the people of this country, and to other countries outside the USA
our founding fathers, as they struggled to establish our Constitution and founding principles.
America needs to look again at the founding fathers' original intent for the freedoms
established in the Constitution, and then observe all the various means being used by media,
advertisers, and lobbyists in this nation, to deliberately change those original principles,
and to almost, in effect, go as far as to change the Constitution itself.

There are many other resources available to readers who wish to study this sad change of our society, but
I recommend both WallBuilders.com, and The Presidential Prayer Team.org, in order to see
actual original documents from the 1700's, written by such leaders as George Washington,
our first president, Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence, and
the others who signed that document.

Other resources are available to show the reader the extreme sacrifices our founding
fathers made in order to establish our government, taking personal risks of danger against
their families, their financial status, and even their very lives, to preserve and establish
this great nation, and the freedoms we now have the privilege of using, as a result of their
sacrifice. The majority of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence ended up in
financial ruin, after being attacked by their enemies, but they refused to give up on their
steadfast, immovable intent to establish a free nation. This fact is documented in many
historical journals, newspapers from that time, and other written proofs. Another sad fact
is, our public schools curriculums today are not focusing on teaching our students these
historical truths about our founding fathers, and the sacrifices they made, resulting in our
freedoms we enjoy today.

That is another subject we can discuss in another article...the sad state of our
educational system in America, compared to our ranking in decades past. According to David
Barton, historian at WallBuilders.com, over 700,000 American high school students who graduated
last year from high school, were so illiterate, they could not even read their own diplomas,
and America is now ranked 65th in the nation in SAT scores, (including the third world,
poorest countries) when we consistently ranked as number one for decade after decade, until
the mid 1960's, when the freedom of the exercise of religion and prayer in our schools sadly
removed from our public schools, in a devastating decision by the supreme court.

The illiteracy rate in our nation has steadily be declining since the 1960's. That Supreme Court decision
alone has a DIRECT CORRELATION to the downward spiral of our students' SAT scores, since the
1960's. Again, these statistics can be viewed at WallBuilders.com.

Hello, this is Deborah Snead.

I welcome you to my blog site, and welcome your comments and suggestions. This site will be dedicated to posting helpful comments, articles or any other type of general information the community of users may wish to publish on the Internet, other than Advertisements, pornographic or offensive language or content, or links to other sites that could subject this site to third party interference. We ask that you limit your wording of your comments to no more than 3000 words for each comment posted, and to respect the privacy rules and content rules mentioned above.

I am hoping this site will be a welcome addition to the “blog community”, and look forward to hearing from you! In the future, this site may be converted into a regular website Format, with original Christian music podcasts from aspiring ministers and musicians, or articles of the same type of genre. For now, please limit your posting to comments and articles. Feel free to post your favorite recipes, poems, Bible verses, or other interesting and helpful material you may wish to share with others. For instance, should you ever hear of “the best diet information available”, many, many Americans are now desperately seeking out a real solution to their problem of weight management, so feel free to post any recommendations you may have of products you have personally used, without posting any blatant ads to sell products or distribute them….please only post information on items you have personally used, and found to be helpful.

I invite you to also visit  SongsoftheLord.com, another blog site I own, and http://www/SpecialHomeProducts.com…..a website I own where you can shop for décor for home, garden, or office and holiday or birthday gift ideas. That site is also dedicated to Christian  family ideals, and we are determined to keep any products that would not promote those ideals off of that site. From time to time, I may mention SpecialHomeProducts to you, but promise to limit any blatant ads myself!
